PRIVATE LABEL

What exactly is private labeling? Essentially, you partner with a lab and you use their formula as your own. No shame there! Not everyone can be chemists and it makes perfect sense if you’d rather focus on the business side. It’s actually super common for a cosmetics brand to private label.

CUSTOM FORMULATING

Got a crazy, cool idea for a product? Custom formulating is for you as long as you have the time, patience, and budget for it. This makeup manufacturing route takes the longest (and might be more expensive) because the lab you choose will be making a completely brand new formula from scratch.

CUSTOM PRODUCT CREATION

The intersection between private label and custom formulation. With custom product creation you can choose from our library of hundreds of bases and customize your product from there. If you do not want to private label because you can never seem to find a formula that meets your vision, but the time and cost of custom formulation is too much, custom product creation could be a great option for you.

CONTRACT MANUFACTURING

Contract manufacturing is typically the step after custom formulating and testing is completed. When you custom formulate at Genie Supply, you walk away with the formula. When you contract manufacture, you have to walk up to us with the formula, so that we can make it.
