Step 2: Determine Your Target Audience

One of the most important measures you can take when starting your own lipgloss line is to figure out exactly who you are going to market to. This will impact how much you charge and how you sell your product.

The best way to do this is to use your own imagination. Picture your ideal customers. Narrow it down to just a few specific individuals, and ask yourself the following questions:

Step 3: Create a Pricing Strategy

This is not to say that there’s anything wrong with marketing towards a teenage demographic. Step 4: Select Your Marketing Channels
