Private Label

Private labeling is when you use an already developed formulation and package and label the product as your own. The customization options are near endless when it comes to packaging and designs, but that is where the customization opportunities end.

Custom Product Creation (CPC)

With custom product creation, you get the chance to customize an already developed formulation. This could be adding an active ingredient you must have or just adding a scent or color. Custom Product creation gives you the chance to add customizations to already existing formulation and completely customize your packaging. With increased customization, comes increased cost. Currently at Genie Supply, we offer customization to any of our based formulations for an additional $2000 per product.

Custom Formulation

Like the name implies, custom formulation is well… completely custom. Through the process of custom formulation, you get the chance to completely customize you formulation and, when you are ready to manufacture, you get to customize your packaging too. Although the most expensive option, custom formulation gives you the chance to create a completely new product for you professional skin care brand!

Think of it as a linear relationship, more customization leads to higher costs. You can pick the route that is right for you.

Which Route is MORE Professional?

All of the options presented above are equally as professional because when you work with a lab like Genie Supply, your skin care brand will check all of the professional boxes. Regardless of which route you choose your formulation will be developed by a cosmetic chemist, tested, and manufactured by a professional to meet FDA regulations.

We should warn you though!

When working with other cosmetic labs, be sure your product will meet the requirements set forth before you begin manufacture. Some other labs don’t test your formulations before manufacture begins and beginning manufacture with a product that is not suited for market will not only make it much less professional, but can cause quite the headache!
