the Best Private Label Skincare Manufacturer? (Part 2)

Great private label skincare manufacturers are hard to find, but not impossible. As a refresher, private label means you find a lab that has products or formulas that you’re interested in. You’ll take those formulas and put your brand on them and market them for yourself. It is NOT cheating or lying (here’s some reassurance in our Private Label guide here).

Now, if you’re looking for who’s the best private label skincare manufacturer, you can find that information here in a past blog. This blog is sort of a Part Two, so if you’re looking for some more private label skincare manufacturers, then read on!

Today we’ll be looking at five more private label skincare manufacturers (in no particular order) to see how they stack up against each other (including us!).

Read to the end before making your choice!

The Best Private Label Skincare Manufacturers

  1. Onoxa

As mentioned before, private label means using someone else’s formula for your own brand. Onoxa is a private label brand but they also create custom-branded personal care products. Their services involve skin, hair, and nails. They offer samples through kits and trial options while their minimum order quantity (MOQ) for wholesale orders starts with a minimum of 12.

Their website is fairly easy to navigate but can become confusing when looking at samples or individual products to order. Additionally, there is little information on who they are, their founder story, which makes their site feel quite impersonal. The most information found is their location in Florida.

Best Private Label Skincare Manufacturer Summary

Skincare Mediums: gel, cream, oil, mist, cleanser

Website Usability: Good

Pros: low MOQ, free label design services, active blog

Cons: impersonal,

Overall Rating: ★★★★

2. Mana

This private label skincare manufacturer also specializes in color cosmetics and hair care. Their products emphasize clean beauty standards and have been around since 1975 in New York City. To find a complete detailed description of their pricing information, you must register with their site.

Their MOQ order is also different as they ask for a minimum of $350 instead of asking for a specific number of units. Finding samples and products is also a little difficult because the products are sorted by certain ingredients or purposes (like hydrating or vitamin C) instead of mediums.

Skincare Mediums: mask, oil, cream, gel, balm, serum

Website Usability: Fair

Pros: clean beauty, variety of products

Cons: orders cannot be changed, all sales are final

Overall Rating: ★★★

3. Vitelle

Although a little later than Mana, Vitelle is a private label skincare manufacturer that started in 1997 and is based in Canada. Their products are sectioned into two: Clinical Skincare and Natural Skin & Body Care. However, none of their products are listed on the site and you have to fill out a brochure to find the pricing. Though they advertise low MOQ orders, they fail to specify what that actual number entails.

Skincare Mediums: N/A

Website Usability: Fair

Pros: logo services, help with naming products, help with marketing

Cons: inactive blog, pricing unavailable

Overall Rating: ★★

4. Dreamline Ceuticals

At first glance, this site looks like a pdf and it makes me feel kind of sketch. Similar to Onoxa, this private label skincare manufacturer offers a sample kit instead of individual samples for their products.

This company brags about their packaging designs, but fails to give any history to their company. They have separate pdfs for their skincare catalog and pricing catalog that are featured on their product page. Their order requirement is similar to Mana with an opening order minimum of $2400 or a MOQ of 24-48 (depending on the situation).

5. Lady Burd

On their About Us page, you’ll find a generalized, eager letter from the CEO and founder of this private label skincare manufacturer. With specialties in color cosmetics, body care, and men’s care, Lady Burd has a lot of options for you to choose from. To order or find out the pricing, you must open an account and provide specific information (like a Federal EIN number).

And Of Course - Genie Supply

So obviously, I’m going to be a little biased, but also I’m not? I do think we’re an amazing private label skincare manufacturer, but that’s only if we can meet your needs. For example, we don’t offer graphic design services, but we do offer some of the cleanest beauty products of all time. Our MOQ currently stands at 500 and we are constantly coming out with new products (and blogs) all the time.
