The Amazon Ready Package
Products sent to Amazon must meet a few requirements to be accepted…
1. The 3 foot drop test
Your product must meet the 3 foot drop test. The 3 foot drop test refers to your product’s ability to be dropped from 3 feet above the ground remain undamaged. This requirement means you will most likely need a protective layer around your product when it is sent to Amazon, especially if the product packaging is glass or acrylic.
2. Amazon SKU Labels
To keep track of your product, Amazon will require you to apply SKU labels to your product before they are sent to the fulfillment facility. When you create a fulfillment order these labels will be provided by Amazon in PDF format, but will need printed off and applied to the product for Amazon intake.
3. Listing Photos
As with any eCommerce product listing, you will need listing photos. Amazon requires listing photos, but good listing photos are beneficial because this will be your customers’ first interaction with your product.
The Amazon ready package can be added onto any private label order, and provides you with everything you will need to begin selling on Amazon. We currently offer 2 different Amazon Ready Packages depending on your product needs and wants.

Bubble Bag (Package A):
A bubble bag will provide your product with extra cushion to help defend it against the wear and tear of shipping. This ensures your product will arrive to your Amazon customer sealed and free of damage. Bubble bags are especially helpful if you are selling beauty products on Amazon that are in glass or acrylic packaging.
Remember:
In the beginning customer reviews are very important to product sales on Amazon, therefore it may be in your best interest to deliver your product in perfect condition to secure that 5 star review.
Double Seal (Package B):
Another option for selling beauty products on Amazon through Genie Supply is double sealing your product. Our double seals ensure that your product will arrive to your customers sealed, providing them with the confidence that their product is previously unopened. With this option you should consider adding custom boxes to our order to create a more professional feel for your product, however this is not mandatory.
Whether you choose the Bubble Bag or Double Seal option for your Amazon Package, both options ensure your product will arrive to your Amazon customer sealed, and consumers will appreciate the confidence a sealed product offers them.
SKU Labels (Package A and B):
Every product through Amazon’s Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA), including the beauty products you sell on Amazon, will require a SKU label. Amazon will provide you with these labels through a PDF file, but they must be printed off and applied to the product before it is sent out.
Both Amazon Packages include the printing and application of these labels. As soon as you place your replenishment order through FBA, send over the PDF files and we will be sure to print and apply the SKU labels before the product is sent to the Amazon fulfillment center.
1 White Background Image (Package A and B):
Selling skincare on Amazon requires you to create a product listing. When creating a product listing, Amazon requires at least one image of the product on a white background.This basic image is part of both Amazon Packages at Genie Supply, and can also be used for any other eCommerce site you choose to sell your product on.
2 Professional Images (Package A and B):
Professional product images can be useful for any sales or marketing strategy, but are especially useful when selling skincare on Amazon. Appealing images may lead consumers to gravitate towards your project, and images that communicate your brand message can help incentivise customers to try it out!
We promise we won’t just tack your label on any old stock image! Your finished product will be sent to a professional photographer for product images and we will share these images with you. Similar to the white background image, these pictures are useful for selling skincare products on Amazon, but can be used on any eCommerce website to sell your product.
